This week there was the news that Tesla had to temporarily shut down the Model 3 production. Luckily, I was still able to test drive the Model 3 in the Netherlands and my first impressions are positive! The Model 3 drives and steers well. The car is small and thus perfect for the Netherlands. I fancy the screen and the view, however, the view inside the ModelX is slightly better. The autopilot works fine, except for switching lanes, but that is because of the map is still U.S.A. based. Video is in Dutch:
I also interviewed the first reactions of other people after their test drive. The Model 3 belongs to You You Xue, a young entrepreneur who bought it in December 2017 and currently is doing a world tour with his car. I interview him and ask him what his opinions are regarding the quality, screen & steering wheel. He thinks it’s a brilliant car, but the quality sucks and has to increase. Why does he think that auto pilot is dangerous for normal people?
