All Chinese brands will come to Europe and they’re very strong and creative at it. They are also smart enough to know which things they’re less good at in a foreign country, so that’s why they’re looking for the right partners to do this with. One of these partners is Ingram Micro, previously DocData, and recently bought by a Chinese company. I interviewed Reinder van der Werf, director of E-Commerce at CM Inspire about his experience with Chinese companies and how they came to the market in only 5 weeks! Reinder says we will have to change the way we work to compete with them. But we will have a hard time competing with the Chinese work ethic! They also work with CM who support all the payment systems in Europe.
