Estonia is the first country to offer e-Residency, a government-issued digital identity and status that provides access to e-services and transparent business environment. I talk with founder of Digital Identity Consulting Adam Ross who acquired the e-Residency. What benefits does the e-Residency offer? Where can you use it? With e-Residency it is easy to start a company with access to an international market & to grow your company with access to international startup funding. How practical is it already? e-Residency only costs €100 and it’s good for 5 years, compared to eHerkenning that costs €300 for 2 years. Europe is a frontrunner with their eIDAS standard, while the USA & Asia are years behind! I acquired my e-Residency already!
